(Optional) Visit the "Conditions" tab and select the "Start the task only if the computer is idle" checkbox. That way, the machine will only restart if it is idle. i.e, not doing anything. Click "Ok".
You will see the new task in the task scheduler.

That is it. You've made a scheduled task to automatically restart Windows. From now on, Windows will reboot itself according to the task configuration. Right before restarting, it'll show just a little message giving any active users an opportunity to save the job.
