The Windows 11 rollout continues to be underway, so it is sensible because of its adoption to enhance. New data shared by AdDuplex reveals the operating system has reached 19.3 percent market share, though, simultaneously, Windows 10 version 21H1 remains the king from the castle.
Approximately 27.5 percent from the Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices available are currently running Windows 10 May 2021 Update, while 21 percent of them are still on version 21H2.
What's promising for everyone, including Microsoft itself, is the fact that only 2.4 % of the computers continue to run Windows 10 October 2018 Update and older. More people are moving to newer versions of Windows 10 or update to Windows 11, therefore the market share of unsupported versions is dropping these days.
The Windows 11 rollout
Microsoft intends to complete the rollout of Windows 11 to eligible devices by the summer of the year.
Two months ago, the company confirmed the rollout entered its latest phase.
"The upgrade offer to Windows 11 is entering its final phase of availability and is designated for broad deployment for eligible devices. Because the launch of Windows 11 in October, we have seen strong demand and preference for Windows 11 with people upgrading their eligible PCs at twice the speed we had for Windows 10. Based on this trend, we are advancing the interest rate from the rollout faster than we originally announced and entering the final phase of availability for Windows 11 ahead of our initial plan of mid-2022," the company said on January 26.
As a reminder, not all devices could be updated to Windows 11, as Microsoft has also updated the machine requirements to make sure processors and TPM 2.0 mandatory for any computer running its latest operating-system.

More specifically, it appears as though the notification priorities are actually displayed separately in the Settings app, as Microsoft therefore wants the experience overall to become more straightforward.

"As thing about this ongoing evolution, Insiders will see us lean more heavily on the Dev Channel like a place to incubate new ideas, focus on long lead items, and control america of person features," the organization said.
"This allows us to experiment in some ways by rolling features in stages to watch quality and your feedback (which we've been doing a large amount of already) and testing variations of features (also known as "A/B testing"). Features and experiences from these builds could show up later on Windows releases when they're ready. In some instances, these concepts will never ship, but by experimenting more, we are able to better refine experiences, and deliver solutions in Windows that truly empower our people to achieve more."

Microsoft launched Windows 11 in October, even though the rollout from the new operating system continues to be arrived, the organization can already share a few numbers to let us understand how everything goes.
Turns out, not too bad. Microsoft claims most users love Windows 11 already, so that as when compared with Windows 10, the adoption rates of the operating system are significantly higher.
The rollout of Windows 11 is now entering the ultimate phase, and Microsoft explains that this operating-system has got the highest product satisfaction rate of Windows versions ever released.
"Since the launch of Windows 11 in October, we view strong demand and preference for Windows 11 with individuals accepting the upgrade offer to Windows 11 at twice the speed we saw for Windows 10. Windows 11 also offers the highest quality scores and product satisfaction of any form of Windows we've ever shipped. Product quality was a huge focus for that team, and we took a deliberate and phased approach to the way we presented the upgrade," Microsoft's Panos Panay explained.
But that's not all, Microsoft says.
"Windows 11 is driving increased engagement with people spending 40% additional time on their own Windows 11 PC vs Windows 10. The multitasking and productivity advantages of the Windows PC are being used more than ever before with nearly half of Windows 11 users while using new Snap Layouts. Windows 11 can also be helping drive 3X more traffic to the newly redesigned Microsoft Store," Panay reveals.
While Windows 11 is provided as a free upgrade for Windows 10 devices, not all PCs are allowed to do the installation. Windows 11 includes updated system requirements, meaning some devices aren't entitled to the disposable upgrade.
Microsoft really wants to complete the rollout of Windows 11 through the summer of 2022, therefore the eligible devices that haven't yet received the update should get it rather earlier than later.

Windows 11 arrived last month to somewhat mixed reviews. But according to Microsoft, the rollout goes smoothly and the company addressed the speed from the rollout alongside the release from the November 2021 update to Windows 10.
Around the Windows blog, Microsoft announced by using the November 2021 Update to Windows 10 the release pace for Windows 10 and Windows 11 feature updates is going to be moving to once per year, rather than the previous pattern of twice-annual updates (via Windows Central).
Microsoft only specified the update will be the second 1 / 2 of the year, which means you can't set your calendar for October or November for your major update. For those that haven't updated to Windows 11 yet, you are able to ponder that upgrade for almost four more years as major updates will cease on October 14, 2025.
There are updated to Windows 11 yet, you can do so anytime by using our handy guide on how to download Windows 11, but Microsoft is also accelerating the rollout so more users will be prompted to update without having to download anything manually.
Naturally, either way you will have to meet the Windows 11 system requirements, so check those out first. In our Windows 11 review, we felt the update isn't worth rushing to download as at the moment it largely comes down to "a new coat of paint" around the old operating system. With that said, our reviewer was prepared to jump on board regardless as that change is a welcome change from the fairly dated Windows 10 visuals.
If you're planning on either the November 2021 Windows 10 update or the full jump to Windows 11 you should check the Windows release health page for information on any known issues to make sure it's not going to affect your workflow.

Microsoft's latest preview build for Windows 11 insiders includes welcome voice access improvements which make this feature easier to use, especially with a touch keyboard.
This is because the organization has added numbered tear drops total keys from the touch keyboard, therefore allowing users to perform a series of operations easier.
For example, you can now use the touch keyboard for things like spelling words, entering numbers, punctuation marks and symbols, as well as emoji. To exhibit and hide the touch keyboard it's enough to simply say "show keyboard" or "hide keyboard," as the typing thing can be done having a command like "click number."
For the time being, however, the commands that are available for voice access with a touch keyboard continue to be limited.
For instance, as well as the ones mentioned above, users are only able to use voice access on and off commands, such as "turn off voice access."
Still within the works
The new voice access feature is a work in progress on Windows 11, with Microsoft polishing the overall knowledge about the release of recent preview builds.
"Voice access is really a new experience that allows everyone, including individuals with mobility disabilities, to control their PC and author text using their voice," Microsoft explains.
"For example, voice access supports scenarios like opening and switching between apps, browsing the net, and reading and authoring mail. Voice access leverages modern, on-device speech recognition to accurately recognize speech and is supported without an web connection. Voice access supports English-U.S. language only, so the Windows display language ought to be set to English-U.S., otherwise voice access may not act as expected.
At this time, there's no ETA as to when voice access could go live for production devices, but this might happen with the release of the very first Windows 11 feature update in the summertime.
